Dianne Buswell was all smiles as she bit into a massive roast supper after appearing on Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night.
Fans of the BBC show were concerned when the 34-year-old professional dancer looked to be fighting back tears when speaking with host Claudia Winkleman.
Her interaction with the host took place after she had finished her performance on the ballroom floor with Bobby Brazier, 20.
The star stood next to the young soap actor and said: ‘He has just been a massive rock this week, so thank you.’
She then turned to the growing celebrity and hugged him tightly, trying to keep her voice from trembling with emotion.
Dianne stayed at home with her boyfriend Joe Sugg, 32, after the Saturday evening programme and updated followers on her Sunday plans.
Showing off her heaving plate, Joe snapped a photo of a smiling Dianne and added a jokey caption that read: ‘These are the best roast potatoes I’ve ever eaten in my life, Joe you are the best roaster of the potato the world’s ever seen, I love you so much more than I even did before!’
Re-sharing the moment on her own Instagram account, the red-haired dancer confirmed: ‘It’s true, best roasted potatoes I have ever had.’
While digesting their feedback, Dianne’s partner also appeared emotional and answered Claudia’s probes into how he was feeling with a simple, ‘Just emotional. It’s been so so emotional all week’.
Following the duo’s practically sad performance, followers turned to social media to express their concerns over both parties’ apparent dismal moods.
One penned: ‘They both looked really sad tonight and neither have posted training footage on IG this week. I hope they’re both ok.’
Another wrote: ‘I hope Bobby is okay. He just seemed very upset tonight. Not sure what they are eluding to when they said it’s been a hard week but I hope everything is okay. Xxx.’
‘Bobby seemed upset tonight, especially when the judges were talking to him after the dance and going up the stairs, and when he was talking to Claudia he looked like he was gonna cry, I really hope he’s okay,’ a separate social media account said.
On the evening, Dianne and Bobby received a 30 out of 40 for their tango to Fashion by David Bowie, and they looked stunning in their red outfits.
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday and Sunday on BBC One and iPlayer.
