Yebin Mok has given Dancing on Ice fans an update on her horror leg injury after being forced to leave the competition.
The professional dancer was ‘absolutely gutted’ to be forced out of the upcoming live shows with celebrity partner Graham Bell after being hospitalised.
This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield announced Mok was forced out of the series after sharing details of a terrible accident, which left her tendons exposed.
The ex-Olympic skier will now be joined by Karina Mantra during the second weekend of the competition.
In a new Instagram post, Yebin said that her leg is beginning to heal.
Posting a photo of some flowers, she wrote: ‘Started my rehab exercises, eating nutrient dense foods for wound healing, visualising muscle healing and I’m so pleased to say my leg is feeling so much stronger!’
She added: ‘Thank you for all the lovely messages and get well wishes!
‘Everyone is giving me such positive energies and it’s definitely carrying me through. So thank you!’
In another post, Yebin said she ‘can’t do some movements’, added there are ‘a lot of other exercises I can do’.
Get well seen Yebin!
The updated comes after the dancer sharing a video from her hospital bed, thanking the NHS and calling the doctors and nurses ‘heroes’.
‘Just massive thank you to the staff of Watford hospital! Doctors, surgeons, nurses, scrub nurses, operating team, anesthetists, urgent care, recovery care,’ she wrote alongside the clip.’
Dancing on Ice will return Sunday at 7pm on ITV.
