Dancing On Ice newcomer Oti Mabuse is reportedly set to return to the panel next year, after quickly winning over show bosses.
Oti was confirmed as former judge John Barrowman’s replacement late last year, which left many fans of the show delighted.
She’s slotted in well on the panel alongside Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean and become a huge hit with viewers.
Now, it’s been reported the show is looking to keep the professional dancer as a permanent fixture due to her ‘infectious energy’ and ‘good vibes.’
A source told The Sun: ‘Oti has been asked to return for next year. She has been a huge hit.
‘Oti is already very much part of the Dancing on Ice family – she fits in so well.
‘She is full of good vibes and just makes everyone laugh. She is so infectious.
‘She’s here to stay hopefully!’
It comes after Oti remained coy over whether she would be back in her role on Strictly Come Dancing later this year.
She has been on the programme since 2015, winning back-to-back with Kelvin Fletcher and Bill Bailey.
Asked about her future on Strictly, she said: ‘So, there will be an announcement that will be made later.
‘But I think for me, as a person in entertainment, I really want to learn and I want to grow and I want a long career, especially in this country, I’ve come all the way from Africa.
‘So I have to make something of myself, I’m really trying to learn and do as much as I can for as long as I can, while I can.’
Chatting last month on This Morning, she promised fans she had time to ‘fit everything in’ when asked by Dancing On Ice co-star Phillip Schofield.
When quizzed over whether she realistically has the time to return to Strictly as one of its professionals, Oti added: ‘I have a great agent who plans everything really well!’
Dancing On Ice continues on Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
