Daisy May Cooper’s hilarious Instagram feed has single handedly kept us entertained over lockdown, and now she’s excelled herself by singing a Christmas Song in character as This Country’s Kerry Mucklowe.
Daisy gave fans her own unique take on A Partridge in a Pear Tree, mixing up the lyrics to reflect the state of the country during the coronavirus pandemic.
‘Four calling birds, three French hens, two turtle doves and some poor b******s in Tier 3,’ she sings in the brilliant clip.
No-one does Christmas quite like Kerry.
The actress has been on hilarious form this year, releasing a series of bizarre and brilliant videos for fans.
The new clip also comes after Daisy announced she was bringing back This Country icon Kerry for a one-off special event for charity, raising £10,000 by selling personal videos as Kerry for fans.
The actress and Taskmaster star was thought to have said goodbye to Kerry and her cousin Kurtan (played by her brother Charlie Cooper) earlier this year, with series three of the BBC favourite bringing a close to the acclaimed comedy.
The money raised through the new clips has gone to BXM Inspired, which organises school expeditions for thousands of young people.
Writing on Instagram, Daisy said: ‘All 50 videos have sold out! Thank you so much to everyone who bought a video and also to those who’ve donated!’
It’s been a huge year for Daisy, starring in her last ever episode of This Country and giving birth to a baby boy.
This Country is available on BBC iPlayer.
