Christopher Eccleston has urged Doctor Who bosses to go further and branded the show a ‘boy’s club’.
The Ninth Doctor – who starred in the sci-fi show in 2005 and is set to reprise the role in new Big Finish audio dramas – has weighed in on Jodie Whittaker being the first woman to take on the lead role, and he suggested there is more than needs to be done including more female writers.
