The return of Bridgeton is finally in sight and while season 2 will be crashlanding with some big changes, the signature sex scenes are here to stay.
They did, however, come with their own challenges, Jonathan Bailey, whose Anthony Bridgerton replaces Daphne Bridgeton (Phoebe Dynevor) and steps up as the second chapter’s lead, has revealed.
Bridgerton immediately became the most-talked about show in the world when it was released in 2019, in part thanks to the steamy scenes between Phoebe Dynevor and Rege-Jean Page, who will not be returning as Simon Bassett, much to the dismay of fans.
This time around, Jonathan said there are ‘new tricks to the trade’ which he learned from the show’s intimacy co-ordinator.
‘It’s amazing what you can do with a half-inflated netball,’ he teased to Radio Times.
