Following his triumph on Strictly Come Dancing, Bobby Brazier has hinted at taking on some major job chances in the future.
Bobby and his partner Dianne Buswell, 34, are strong favourites to capture the trophy in the final, and the Freddie Slater actor, 20, has been a big success with fans this year.
Until then, though, despite rumours of multi-million-pound offers, Bobby stays exceedingly modest.
After demonstrating his abilities on the dancefloor, PR experts predicted Bobby would be at the focus of a ‘bidding war’ with big TV and film executives – and he’s not ruling it out just yet.
When asked about the high heights he might attain, the actor had a really lovely remark.
‘I just trust that I’ll always be ok and that life will take me where it’s meant to take me,’ he said.
‘If I make myself ready for it and if I’m open to it… yeah, that’s how I feel about it…’
For the time being, Bobby’s connection with Dianne keeps him grounded, and he admits with a smile that they are ‘so close.’
‘We’re very lucky to have each other, actually,’ added Dianne.
‘I always knew that Bobby was a gorgeous soul, but getting to know him and being able to work with him is a real privilege.’
‘I feel the same,’ Bobby chimed in.
‘The closer you get to someone, the highs are higher and the lows are lower. It’s super emotional, it’s so emotional!
‘But I wouldn’t change it for anything.’
The BBC personality is also keen to continue ‘doing [his] best’ and make his family proud.
So much so that he’s approaching Strictly on a week-by-week basis rather than aiming for the glitter ball trophy.
‘If I just try my best and give the dance what it deserves on Saturday, then everything else is whatever,’ he said casually.
‘As long as I feel like I’ve given the tango the tango, the foxtrot the foxtrot, and the samba the samba, then what else is there to do?’
Bobby, whose mother is late Big Brother star Jade Goody and father is Jeff Brazier, has received the full support of his family, with younger brother Freddie, 19, making a rare public appearance in the Strictly crowd.
Not only that, but his godsister performed a show and tell presentation at school to brag about his accomplishments.
‘When I found out she did that, it’s just the warmest little feeling,’ he said with a big grin. ‘I can’t describe it. It doesn’t compare to an NTA, it doesn’t compare to anything, it’s the sweetest thing in the world.’
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday and Sunday on BBC One and iPlayer.
