Amanda Holden shared her newest outfit of the day on Instagram, praising the clever element of her skirt in particular.
The 53-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge, who recently rebuked buddy Alan Carr on live TV, revealed her appearance to her 2.1 million social media followers today (Thursday, January 18) in a minute-long video.
It started with a close-up of the former actress’ long khaki green skirt, then followed her fingers as she unzipped it nearly all the way to the top, before saying ‘Good Morning.’
As she walked towards the camera, Amanda exclaimed: ‘I love this skirt. This skirt is like a suedette skirt. It is from Karen Millan. It has got these cute little pockets here. I don’t know, you can keep your phone in there.
‘But best of all it’s got this,’ Amanda continued, as she fiddled with the zip again. ‘An easy access zip. So you can put it to whatever level you want so you can walk in it properly.’
Amanda paired her skirt with a ribbed white polo-neck T-shirt and a pair of chic high heels.
Amanda has previously faced unfair criticism for her skin-baring ensembles, notably from sexist Andrew Tate, who stated she shouldn’t flaunt her body since she was a ‘wife and mother’.
She subsequently responded to his message on Instagram, stating she had considered posting a bikini shot with the phrase, ‘Kiss my 52-year-old arse.’
Amanda continued: ‘But you just know something like that’s going to go on and on – and in the end, why give him the oxygen?’
Amanda recently told The Telegraph that she had no intentions to modify her style and would not cover up.
‘I will always listen to myself first, because I dress for me – nobody else,’ she said proudly.
A recent bikini photo shared earlier this month, however, went down a storm with her followers, but not for the reasons you may anticipate.
‘Your feet,’ one man posted alongside a love heart emoji.
‘Love her legs and feet,’ another shared with a devil emoji.
Another added: ‘Such pretty toes.’
Several more commented on how weird the torrent of compliments had become, with many laughing as they read them.
‘Looking beautiful but the weird comments about your feet. I hope you actually read them I’m p***ing myself laughing,’ one woman shared.
Aside from outfits and steamy photos, Amanda is presently appearing in the second season of Italian Job with Alan Carr, which follows them as they rebuild a 17th-century derelict building acquired for one euro.
At the conclusion, the house is put up for sale to generate funds for Comic Relief.
Amanda and Alan have several humorous moments, including an encounter with ghosts.
Amanda became emotional as she and her comic friend Alan resolved to rehabilitate the run-down property and breathe new life into it, while also making the former owners proud.
Speaking to the camera, she stated, “I feel quite emotional about this build.” Because I could nearly smell the house’s history, I feel compelled to perform an even better job than before.
‘I want to do the spirits proud, I know that is going to make me sound like a wally.’
