Oh, to be a fly on the wall at The Chainsmokers’ hotel rooms when they’re on tour; apparently, that’s where all the action happens.
The electronic pair, Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart, didn’t hold back while discussing their sexual exploits this week.
Furthermore, Alex joked that they were ‘forced into’ such settings because European hotels do not have separate bedrooms.
In a new interview, Alex, 37, and Andrew, 33, were asked: ‘How often do people propose threesomes with the two of you, and how often have you accepted?’
‘It’s not proposed a lot,’ clarified Andrew, with Alex adding: ‘It was also the days when we used to have to share hotel rooms.’
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, he elaborated: ‘In Europe, they have the two beds, they don’t even split them apart, so it’s almost by force that we were forced into these scenarios.’
Worried that his bandmate’s ‘by force’ comment might be misinterpreted, Andrew interjected: ‘That sounds crazy. I’m so concerned how that [comment] is going to be taken.’
Meanwhile, Alex added: ‘They were never planned. It’s weird. I’m not gonna lie.’
The Closer hitmakers also admitted to sleeping with fans in the past, although not hardcore ones.
‘I don’t think we’ve ever hooked up with a diehard fan – no one wearing merch or anything,’ Andrew told podcast host Alex Cooper.
He also revealed that he once dated a woman who spied on him using a pet food dispenser. Isn’t it terrifying?
‘It was, like, “Oh my God, I’ve been getting spied on for seven months by this f*****g pet camera,”’ the musician shared.
‘I got up close to it, and she had blacked out the recording light with a marker and then covered it with an additional piece of electric tape perfectly cut out.’
Spoiler: Andrew is no longer in a relationship with that individual.
‘It was just the most unhealthy. I [felt like I was] losing my mind,’ the star elaborated.
‘My mum hated her, my sister hated her, everyone didn’t like her at this point.
‘At this point, I was, like, “I think I should probably call this soon”… but I’m such an optimist, it’s hard for me to pull this rug out.’
The Chainsmokers’ interview comes after the chart-topping duo completed its 2022 tour last month.
They’d been touring North America and, *ahem*, Europe in support of their fourth studio album, So Far So Good.
