Victoria Beckham may not be reunited with her Spice Girls bandmates, but she has no qualms about belting out the girl group’s classic classics.
On a night out with hubby David Beckham, the 49-year-old fashion designer climbed up on stage and gave it her all.
The former pop diva appeared to be enjoying the time of her life as she sang along to her 1996 single Say You’ll Be There.
And it’s not only VB who has the songs memorised; hubby David also knows every word.
The former professional footballer was bopping along in his suit while their group of friends clapped along.
Becks seemed bleary-eyed, but he may be excused because it was a momentous night for the ex-England player.
Following Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami debut, David’s club raced to victory over Cruz Azul, with celebrations lasting into the early hours.
Victoria, while providing her followers with the stuff they craved, assured them that she wasn’t that inebriated.
‘Just a casual night out in Miami!🤭 check out my tik tok to see the full performance 😂🥴 no really I did not drink that much 🍸🥃🍷🥂🍹🍾💃🕺’, she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, which also captured her and David dancing the night away.
Indeed, her TikTok video was a hit, with admirers gushing about how free-spirited the pair was in the comments.
‘Omg ! How cute are you both ! I love how your living ta best life ! Posh my all time fave spice ! Xxx’, one fan wrote.
In stitches, another commented: ‘@David Beckham is hammered 😂 love it !! X’
Another said: ‘I love watching you sing and have fun with it!!!!’
‘we need a spice girls reunion pleaseeee, one fan also begged.
Unfortunately, a Spice Girls reunion may be out of the question for the time being.
Rumours about the band reuniting are constantly circulating, aided by the women themselves suggesting that conversations are taking place and announcements are imminent.
However, the theory gained traction last week when it was reported that they will headline Glastonbury 2024.
Victoria was supposed to join Geri Horner, Mel B, Melanie C, and Emma Bunton on the Pyramid Stage next year.
The euphoria, however, did not last long, as a source close to Posh Spice subsequently stated that she would rather focus on her fashion company.
An insider told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: ‘Glastonbury is possibly the coolest gig on the planet but Victoria won’t be doing it next year.
‘She has carved herself a career as a fashion designer that she has put blood, sweat and tears into, so singing is something she has to carefully consider.
‘She has sadly been hugely ridiculed when she has sung in the past.’
They added: ‘She is a different person now. She looks back fondly on her years in the Spice Girls – they were very special for her – so she hasn’t ruled out a celebration, maybe, at some point.
‘And Glastonbury are not at all keen on having the group without Posh, it just doesn’t have the same pull.’
But it doesn’t mean Victoria is abandoning her comrades.
Instead, she’s scheduled to appear in a documentary directed by J.J. Abrams.
The documentary will trace the narrative of the band’s journey to stardom in the 1990s, using interviews and previously unseen footage from their personal archives.
Fans looking for a live performance, however, will be disappointed…
