Victoria Beckham shattered her foot after falling down in the gym.
The 49-year-old legendary fashion designer is well-known for being in shape, but a recent exercise turned horrific when she fell down and sustained a serious injury.
On Thursday, her husband, David Beckham, posted a photo of his wife’s foot in a medical boot, revealing the severity of the problem.
‘Apparently my wife’s little accident in the gym was a clean break,’ the 48-year-old retired footballer wrote on his Instagram Story alongside a sympathetic sad faced emoji.
The Spice Girls star stated that she had a fall last week.
She sarcastically wished a ‘happy’ Valentine’s Day while showing off her well-groomed feet behind an ice pack.
She shared with her 32.6 million Instagram followers that she had fallen over while working out in the couple’s home gym, where she frequently showcases David’s fitness routine.
Seeing this, her husband posted the photo on his own page, which has 87 million followers, and teased: ‘How big’s your toe? Wow. I’ve never observed that before.
Posh did get her own back, however, when she and David discussed the very romantic gift she had purchased him – a magazine on chickens, which came after she had given him a’massive cock’ for Christmas.
David has been giving fans little chicken updates, showing off the eggs he collects and feeding his new feathered friends.
At the time, the multi-millionaire business mogul had looked completely baffled as he sprinkled food on the ground around the coop, with his wife captioning it: ‘What do you get @davidbeckham for Christmas??.’
Turns out the answer was poultry and it seems for any special occasion, the answer is now the same … more chicken-related items.
‘What to get the man who has everything,’ Victoria had captioned a picture of The Country Smallholder, with a cover story on ‘practical poultry’.
Posh and Becks have been notoriously together since 1997, marrying two years later following a passionate proposal.
Victoria and David have four children: daughter Harper, 12, boys Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 18.
