Taylor Swift fans are an outlandish lot at best, but they have recently excelled themselves.
Fans are ecstatic to meet the 33-year-old in person and rock out to her biggest songs as she tours the United States as part of her Eras tour.
So enthusiastic, in fact, that some are donning protective adult diapers – yes, nappies – so they may pee freely in the throng without missing a song to run to the lavatory.
We know the ladies’ restroom line is a pain, but this is genuinely commendable commitment to the Swiftie cause.
One fan captioned a photo in the crowd at an Eras event, ‘No one knows I am wearing a nappy for this.’
Another amusing video shows two women who are overdressed for the event battling to put on a diaper.
‘Why did you pick the most monstrous?’ the friend said to her nappy-happy pal.
‘We didn’t need most absorbent, we needed most appropriate and most slimming,’ she added, in hysterics.
The nappies really didn’t look too horrible under a tasselled dress, but after three hours of shimmying to Shake It Off and putting it to use, we’re not so sure we can definitely guarantee it won’t smell rather gross.
TikTokers were loving the effort though, as one commented: ‘This is literally the most Fearless thing ever.’
‘This is commitment,’ praised another.
Another Swiftie posted a screenshot video of her Amazon order, which contained adult nappies.
They were selling at $29 (£23).
‘The amount of stress and time it took me to get Taylor Swift tickets, I will be getting an adult diaper because I am not missing a minute of it,’ she said to the camera.
‘I am not above anything,’ commented one person, apparently considering a similar purchase.
‘For the amount of money I spent on the concert. Same. I may not drink water all day,’ wrote another.
Someone else just said, ‘This is smart.’
But it’s not just Swifties that adore Taylor right now, if allegations about her dating 1975 singer Matty Healy are to be believed.
Multiple people have claimed to have witnessed the duo getting close, with the most recent claiming People they saw Taylor and Matty ‘kissing’.
While the rumours circulated, neither Matty nor Taylor verified or denied the accusations.
Matty has already backed the Love Story hitmaker on a number of her Eras gigs.
The tour, which began in March in Arizona and concludes on August 9 in California, has taken America by storm.
