Sophie Ellis-Bextor has shared her dismay at being compelled to overlook a lot of pageant exhibits as two of her kids have been recognized with Covid.
The Murder on the Dancefloor hitmaker was as a consequence of sing at Camp Bestival this weekend, in addition to Rock Oyster and Valley Fest.
The pop star shared a picture on social media of herself sporting a facemask whereas cuddling as much as 1 of her kids watching the TV.
‘I am so sad to be telling you this but I unfortunately have to miss all my festivals this weekend,’ she wrote.
‘This last year I’ve spent a lot time dreaming of singing in entrance of a crowd once more and my band and crew had been all set to convey the music to you. Alas two of my kids have come down with covid so I have to keep at residence with them and get them again to full well being.’
Sophie, 42, assured her little ones are ‘OK at the moment’, including that they’re ‘just sad not to be coming away with me and their dad @richardjonesface on the tour bus as we’d deliberate.’
She went on: ‘I send lots of love to all involved at camp bestival, rock oyster and valley fest – I know it’ll be a tremendous weekend – and I’m heavy hearted to not be there, however well being first in fact.
‘Have a wonderful time if you’re going and to all – keep protected. I’ll be capable of disco with you all once more quickly.
‘For now it’s couch time and snuggles with Wizard of Oz. Xxxx.’
Sophie, who grew to become a little bit of an icon throughout the pandemic for her Kitchen Discos in lockdown, has 5 sons with husband Richard Jones of The Feeling.
However, she didn’t reveal which of her kids – aged between two and 16 – had come down with Covid.
Camp Bestival is happening at Lulworth Castle in Dorset, Rock Oyster is in Cornwall at Dinham House and Valley Fest is in Bristol.

She, like many different musicians, has been determined to get again to performing after the enforced break as a result of pandemic, and he or she even took half in final 12 months’s collection of The Masked Singer to fulfill that much-needed craving.
She advised Metro.co.uk earlier this 12 months the enjoyment at placing on her well-known Kitchen Discos with Richard, which she didn’t anticipate to be as profitable as they had been.
‘The first one, we just thought would be a one-off, and I honestly thought people would make fun of me because I put on a sequinned catsuit and kids were everywhere and I just thought, there’s an excellent likelihood this seems to be like a lady going via some form of breakdown,’ she mentioned.
‘I wasn’t anticipating the optimistic suggestions. And I wasn’t anticipating the best way it could make Richard and I really feel, truly. We felt like we’d completed an actual gig, in a bizarre manner. It was like having a non-alcoholic drink, it tricked our brains.’
