Sharon Stone hit back in typically iconic form when an ex-boyfriend suggested that she should get Botox.
The Basic Instinct queen reflected on her relationship with her image in a new interview, explaining that her health issues made her think twice about what she was doing to her body.
The 64-year-old also revealed that a former partner questioned whether she underwent Botox, before explaining that the relationship fell apart soon after.
‘There were periods in the super fame when I got Botox and filler and stuff, and then I had this massive stroke and a nine-day brain hemorrhage and I had to have over 300 shots of Botox and filler to make the one side of my face come up again,’ she said.
Her ordeal changed the way she viewed cosmetic procedures, from a ‘cute luxury’ to a ‘massive, painful neuroglial need’.
It also impacted her love life, as Sharon revealed to Vogue Arabia that a younger man that she was briefly dating had asked if she uses Botox.
And her reply? ‘It would probably be really good for your ego and mine if I did.
‘I saw him one more time after that and then he wasn’t interested in seeing me anymore. If you don’t see me for more than that, you’ll please find your way to the exit.’
Just when you thought that you couldn’t love the Hollywood icon more.
Clearly not fussed about the unnamed man’s comments, Sharon vowed that she is in the best stage of her life so far.
‘I feel like this is the most exciting and creative period of my life,’ she added. ‘I feel really, really happy. I’ve never been this joyful.’
The Total Recall actress made that known recently as she proudly posted a carefree bikini photo on Instagram, embracing her figure.
Fans couldn’t praise her fast enough for the upload, which saw her confidently throwing her head back and laughing on an idyllic, sunny day.
She donned a pair of patterned green bikini bottoms and strategically placed a towel over her shoulders, covering her modesty.
In a heartwarming caption, Sharon simply enthused: ‘Gratefully Imperfect on a Perfect Day.’
Never, ever change, Sharon.
