Maya Jama’s style has already captivated us, but the Love Island presenter is going to become much more famous as the face of Dolce & Gabbana.
Maya has dazzled viewers on the reality programme with some fantastic ensembles, including a cut-out ab-revealing khaki dress.
Unsurprisingly, the attractive presenter has been hired by Dolce & Gabbana to be the face of their Fall Winter 23/24 line.
The TV personality looked stunning in red and black tones with leather-look and lace materials, solidifying her status as a worldwide fashion queen.
Maya has been a growing sensation among Brits for years, garnering 2.8 million Instagram followers and gracing the cover of Vogue’s August ’23 issue.
Steven Meisel, the creative photographer behind her Vogue cover and Dolce & Gabbana’s new collection, foreshadowed this high fashion campaign.
Steven is a famous and regular collaborator of Dolce & Gabbana, having collaborated with founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana since the late 1980s.
Maya is the focus of these new images, which show her posing on a black chaiselongue in the new collection.
‘With her brilliance, genuineness, and determination to encourage truly inclusive beauty, Maya’s fame has soared, and she is now an iconic female symbol in contemporary society,’ stated Dolce & Gabbana.
The 28-year-old is practically unrecognisable with her short wavy red hair, which is a drastic change from her customary dark brown lengths.
Her classic beauty look, created by acclaimed artist Pat McGrath, complements her vivid red lip and smoky eyes wonderfully.
And then there are the costumes – Maya is living our 80s corporate executive turned vampire fantasies that we had no idea we possessed.
The brand added: ‘The centre stage of the Campaign is the play on the material transparencies of the apparel from the Collection, between absolute black and passionate red.’
Every design is inspired by Dolce & Gabbana’s love of lingerie and corsetry while yet looking ready for a high-powered swagger across Milan.
Maya never glances away from the camera, gazing directly into the lens and reassuring viewers that she is, in fact, that girl.
It’s no wonder that Kim and Kourtney Kardashian are feuding over this couture label, especially because new it-girl Maya looks so at ease in the designs.
Maya certainly has her sights set on the fashion industry with barely a week remaining of this season of Love Island – we only hope she returns to host next year.
