In a beautiful Instagram post on Wednesday, Lara Stone revealed the arrival of her second child, a week after giving birth.
With her second husband, David Grievson, the 39-year-old supermodel welcomed her son Bob.
The singer disclosed her child had spent time in critical care in a snapshot she shared on social media, and baby Bob could be seen linked to multiple tubes and wires in the photo.
The new parents cuddled their newborn in a hospital bed, placing their hands on the child’s back.
Lara already has a 10-year-old son named Alfred, whom she shares with ex-husband David Walliams.
She captioned her Instagram post: ‘Baby Bob was born last week and spent a very scary few days in intensive care.
‘We’re so happy to have him home with us now, and all love him so much.’
Fans commented on the model’s joy and extended their well wishes to the couple’s newest addition.
One penned: ‘My darling. Much love to you all,’ while another said: ‘Congratulations To you and your family and welcome to the world little Bob [sic].’
‘Awwwww bless happy all are safe and sound congratulations [sic],’ was a separate social media account’s response to the happy news.
Lara’s eldest kid has been kept out of the spotlight and off social media, as she agreed with her ex spouse and BGT judge David between 2010 and 2015.
David opened up about their choice to hide their son’s face in the past, telling Hello magazine: ‘I knew what I was getting into, this is what I signed up to.
‘Making a television programme, being in the spotlight is unavoidable and if you’re a kid, it must be quite hard.’
‘You don’t know what they going to want to do with their lives.
‘They might choose to do something completely private, in which case, there doesn’t seem to be any advantage to being in the spotlight.’
Lara met her second spouse in 2018 and married him two years later.
