Keke Palmer and her partner Darius Jackson appeared to reveal they are expecting a son.
The Nope star made the announcement in the most famous way, by showing off her baby bulge during her SNL monologue in December.
The 29-year-old stopped by Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show for a chat, and the topic of their newborn child naturally came up.
‘I want to say hi to the baby,’ the host began, before yelling: ‘“Hi baby, I cannot wait to meet you!”
He then inquired as to the astrological sign of the infant, to which the expecting mother said, “My baby is either going to be a Pisces or an Aries, I’m not sure exactly…”.
‘Pisces are known to be very deep, they’re emotional creatures so I just want to make sure I’m not too blunt for my s… for my baby boy
‘I don’t want to be too, “Look, what’s up?” Because sometimes I can be a little too, “tell it like it is!”
‘I need to wade in the water with the Pisces, just keep it chill.’
Jimmy didn’t press Keke for further details on her news, but rather talked about the amazing year she’s had professionally and personally.
It is believed that Keke and Darius met in May of 2021 and made their relationship Instagram public in August of the same year.
They’ve made an effort to keep their relationship private, but the Scream Queens actress has revealed it’s getting’more harder to hide’ as time goes on.
In December, she finally broke her silence on SNL by announcing the pregnancy, and her monologue was one of the show’s most iconic moments.
‘There’s some rumors going around,’ she said while dressed in a long blazer. ‘People have been in my comments saying, “Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,” and I want to set the record straight.’
Ripping open the jacket to reveal her baby bump, she delightedly declared: ‘I am!
‘I’ve got to say, it’s bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you, y’all, but it’s even worse when they’re correct!
‘But honestly, this has been the biggest blessing and I am so excited guys, I’m going to be a mom!’
