Kate and Rio Ferdinand should be congratulated on the birth of their daughter.
Together with the rest of their close-knit family, the pair celebrated the birth of their second child and told everyone the baby’s cute name.
‘Shae Ferdinand 🤍 10.7.23 Our strong little girl 🤍,’ they wrote in their Instagram caption, after Kate gave birth almost a week ago.
They also uploaded a shot of the baby’s hands, with her siblings’ hands lying on top.
Kate, 32, and Rio, 44, married in 2019, and their son Cree was born a year later.

Rebecca passed away in 2015, at the age of 34, after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Kate and Rio have received a flood of congratulations since revealing their news, with fans and friends crowding the comment area of their Instagram post with well-wishes.

Five days before introducing Shae into the world, Kate shared an Instagram selfie of herself wearing an all-black costume and displaying her baby belly while her son Cree hugged her beside his father Rio.
‘Good morning ☀️ Don’t be fooled by the gym picture & clothes, I was there for selfie purposes only 🤣🤳🏽,’ she wrote in the caption at the time.
Kate revealed her pregnancy in June, saying that her baby was in breech position in the womb.
Speaking on Loose Women, she said: ‘Can I tell the truth, I’m feeling a bit tired.
‘And the baby is breech, so she’s digging in the ribs and kicks on the bladder. But apart from that, I’m okay.’
