Jamie Lee Curtis is certainly overjoyed to be a’movie grandma,’ and she has given some wonderful presents to Lindsay Lohan’s newborn son.
Last month, she and husband Bader Shammas welcomed their first child, son Luai.
Her Freaky Friday co-star was among many who celebrated the baby’s arrival on social media, expressing her joy for her “movie daughter.”
Lindsay shared a preview of the thoughtful gifts she sent for the infant on Instagram, including a very comfortable-looking blanket and a collection of books, some of which she had written herself.
In a post on her story, the 37-year-old unveiled the thoughtful delivery, with the message: ‘Thank you @jamieleecurtis.’
Anyone else seriously jealous of Luai’s little stash?
In 2003, they co-starred as mother and daughter in the legendary body-swap comedy Freaky Friday and have been close friends ever since.
Jamie officially congratulated the Mean Girls actress on becoming a mother for the first time last month, announcing the news on Instagram.
Sharing a throwback snap alongside her pal, she penned: ‘MAGIC MONDAY! My movie daughter just made me a movie grandmother.
‘Blessings to Lindsay and Bader for the birth of Luai!’
Truly friendship goals.
Lindsay disclosed to Allure before giving birth that she had been conversing with the Halloween star about parenthood tips.
‘I spoke to Jamie Lee Curtis recently and she was like, “You just bring the baby with you and everything will be fine,”’ she told the outlet.
‘I can’t wait to see what the feeling is and what it’s like to just be a mom.’
