Katie Price and Carl Woods were among the first holidaymakers to jet out of the UK to Portugal as soon as restrictions were eased.
The couple boarded a bargain Ryanair flight to soak up the sun and have been keeping their followers up to date with their trip.
The former glamour model, 42, told her followers: ‘So guys, I would like to say that our flight from Stansted Airport today was one of the best times I have gone through customs, security, check-in… it went so smoothly although it was quite quiet at the airport.’
Fiancé Carl, 32, then chipped in: ‘I mean to be fair you shouldn’t even be on a flight, you’re bankrupt.’
Katie then revealed that Carl had treated her to the £7 flights for her birthday and a project they are working on, admitting that the PCR tests they have to have to fly have been more expensive than their trip.
Currently, Portugal is on the green list amid the coronavirus pandemic, but travellers still must book and pay for Covid-19 PCR tests in order to be allowed to travel.
