Holly Willoughby has been reflecting on the rollercoaster that was 2021 and says she hopes the new year will see a bit of normality return.
The This Morning presenter, 40, posted a New Year’s Eve message to Instagram where she revealed that she – along with the rest of us – wished 2022 would be better than the previous year.
She wrote: ‘Happy New Year… what do I wish for … a bit of consistent normality… ‘
Holly, getting philosophical, added: ‘I know the one constant is self but it would be nice if 2022 could let us off the rollercoaster for just a bit… ‘
She finished the message by sending love to all her family, friends and followers for the new year.
Holly’s wish came in the form of a caption on her newest Instagram post.
In the dream-like snap, Holly can be seen perching on a crescent moon structure which is brightly lit up, wearing a gold dress and cupping her face with her hand.
Career-wise, 2021 has proved to be a successful year for Holly: she has continued to present This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield, scooped the daytime gong at the National Television Awards, and even brought out a book.
In September of this year, she founded the wellness and lifestyle brand Wylde Moon, whose logo can be seen shining out of Holly’s newest Instagram snap.
In a recent episode of her podcast, By The Light Of The Moon, Holly revealed that a psychic had once told her she was destined to be a ‘household name’.
She told comedian Michael McIntyre that, as a child, she went to a pier with her mother, where she found a woman who claimed to be able to predict people’s futures.
‘There was a psychic lady at the end,’ she recalled. ‘My mum took me and my sister to go.
‘She said to me: “You’re going to be a household name”.’
Holly’s career doesn’t look like it will slow down any time soon, with the presenter also making a return to hosting Dancing On Ice in January 2022.
