Greggs hopes Beyonce will fall in love with their sirloin bakes and vegan sausage rolls, as she has previously shown an affinity for another iconic British high street institution.
The 41-year-old chart-topper has arrived in Britain for her UK tour and has already wowed audiences in Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Sunderland.
Fans cannot believe that the celebrity is in Sunderland (and she really is, as she has altered her Instagram location to Sunderland), and there have been a number of memes created about Queen Bey investigating the city’s attractions.
Beyonce is clearly indulging herself and her staff during her gruelling world tour, as she made headlines this week for purchasing a £2,000 order of Nando’s for her team.
Now Greggs is attempting to get in on the action by directly approaching Beyonce and requesting her order.
The social media team shared a photoshopped screenshot of Beyonce’s Instagram bio, where they added her location as ‘Greggs, Sunderland UK’, and asked: ‘What can we get for you, @Beyonce?’

Fans and other brands loved the quip, with pop culture page Hunsnet joking: ‘It could be a sweet treat, or a beautiful steak bake’ – a brilliant nod to Bey’s track Sweet Dreams.
One person admitted she had to ‘check if this was her actual bio,’ while another labeled Greggs ‘marketing geniuses.’
And Quorn replied insisting that Beyonce would have to get the ever popular vegan sausage roll.

It comes after Beyonce treated her entourage to a massive order of Nando’s, reported to have spent £1,800 on 110 chicken burgers, 90 pittas and nine chicken thighs.
with the Renaissance World Tour predicted to earn a jaw-dropping £1.6 billion t’s little more than pocket change for Queen Bey.
Forbes has estimated that mum-of-three Beyoncé could be looking at a profit of over $2bn (£1.6bn), noting that estimates are based on ‘optimistic’ assumptions.
Considering it’s Bey’s first tour in six years, and how quickly tickets were snapped up – not to mention the amount of merch being bought at the stadiums – we reckon the ‘optimistic’ assumptions are not so ‘optimistic’
