Gregg Wallace has been chastised by angry fans for complimenting his and his wife’s thin physique while advertising his lifestyle plan.
The MasterChef judge, 58, also disclosed his precise weight on Instagram, espousing the merits of their approach to food and health while maintaining they ‘don’t diet’.
The television personality Gregg has shed five stone since 2017 after overhauling his lifestyle in response to a doctor’s harsh warning that he was at high danger of a life-threatening heart attack.
Since then, he has aggressively urged his supporters to prioritise their health alongside him.
His recent post on Sunday, however, did not appear to go over well with some of his fans, as the presenter and self-described “pudding enthusiast” seemed to irritate them by gloating about being “slim.”
‘We are slim and well, the pair of us. I weigh just over 12 stone. We don’t diet, in fact we eat big meals every day!’ Gregg wrote in the caption of a smiling selfie of the couple taken on the beach.

‘Anna has never been in a gym,’ he added.
‘What we’ve learned is how to eat healthily, not be hungry, not willpower and not portion control!
‘I’ve helped hundreds of people and I can help you too.’
Gregg married Anne-Marie Sterpini, 36, aka Anna, in 2016, and they had their son Sid in 2019.
‘I don’t think that’s entirely true a gram of fat will sit differently on different body types and metabolisms. Some people will burn this quicker than others,’ responded one of his followers in the comments.
‘Maybe Anna has a faster metabolism. Some people do,’ pointed out another.
‘Some (lucky) people don’t have to get to the gym (on a sensible diet). Others do,’ wrote someone else.
Gregg was also branded ‘privileged’, while another fan posted: ‘Brilliant I weigh the same as Greg 🙄🤣.’
The British Miracle Meat documentary maker was praised by others though, for looking ‘fabulous, healthy and happy’.
‘You both look incredible,’ added someone else.
Gregg gave an inspiring message about his health journey after appearing on Good Morning Britain last month.
‘Don’t go on a diet,’ he insisted on the show.
‘Don’t do something that’s really difficult that you can’t maintain. We’re logical people, right? If it’s so difficult and so uncomfortable, you won’t keep it up.
‘What I tell everybody, and this is the key, eat three healthy meals a day.’
In a subsequent Instagram video, he expanded on the subject, encouraging his 170k followers to make’small adjustments’ to notice a difference.
‘The difference between being overweight and being slim is not one major great big leap, like a huge change overnight, but a series of small changes over time. That’s what it is,’ he explained.
‘Just getting better and better a little bit at a time. Not one huge great change that’s uncomfortable, but small little steps.’
Richard Madeley, the show’s presenter, quizzed the host about the circumstances behind his resignation from Inside The Factory.
Despite leaving the BBC2 programme in March to spend more time with his three-year-old son Sid, the host’s involvement at the Nestlé facility has been identified as a contributing cause.
The MasterChef host was accused of being ‘rude to workers’ and’speaking in a disrespectful manner, especially to women,’ and of being ‘appalled’ that he had caused’such an offence.’
He said: ‘There was an argument in Inside The Factory. The reporting isn’t accurate. There was an issue and I thought that was the perfect time to come out.
‘Offending people? No, no. If you look at the headlines you can’t see a story that matches those headlines. But there was an issue; I don’t want to discuss what the issue was.
‘But I thought it was a good time – Mum needs help with Sid at home, running around the country going to those factories – I thought it was a good time to give something up.’
Top Gear host Paddy McGuinness has apparently been lined up to replace him as the series’ host.
