Elon Musk reveals names of never-before-seen twin toddlers and people will no doubt have thoughts

Elon Musk is well-known for providing uncommon names to his children.

Consider the 52-year-old tech mogul’s two children with artist Grimes.

Their first child, a three-year-old little boy, is named X Æ A-12, while their second, a 21-month-old daughter, is Exa Dark Sideræl.

Back in 2021, Musk secretly welcomed twins with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis and this month he and Zilis were photographed with their never-before-seen twin toddlers for TIME.

To be fair, his youngest two children’s names aren’t quite as outlandish, with Musk confirming Azure and Strider.

Still, the names are a little more daring than, say, Emma and Simon.

Musk and his ex-wife Justine Wilson have 18-year-old twins Vivian and Gryphon.

Wilson and Musk have three children: Kai, Sax, and Damian.

In other news, Musk is rumoured to be preparing for a cage match with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Musk has been teasing a fight with Zuckerberg, 39, since June, saying: ‘I’m up for a cage match if he is lol.’

Zuckerberg replied: ‘Send me location.’

The fight’s fate has been hotly discussed, but on August 5, Musk announced via social media that it will be live-streamed on Twitter (now named X).

‘All proceeds will go to charity for veterans,’ he added while making his announcement and fuelling further speculation.

Their bravado came as rivalry among social networking platforms heated up with the introduction of Threads, a Meta-owned Instagram spin-off.

The network competed with Twitter by focusing on text posts. It enabled users to upload up to 500 characters of text, as well as up to five minutes of video, links, and images.

It also included functionality similar to Twitter, such as liking or reacting to postings or citing an existing thread.

Following the launch of Threads, Twitter updated its famed bird logo with an X as part of owner Musk’s aspirations to build a “everything app.”
