Britney Spears fans are straining their eyes to find a clue in her latest Instagram post, and we have so many questions.
The Toxic singer found herself back in the spotlight following the release of a New York Times documentary, Framing Britney Spears, which explored her controversial conservatorship.
The 39-year-old has not spoken publicly about the one-off show, but has sent followers into a spin with her latest social media upload.
Taking to the ‘gram, she gave us all a look at her Scrabble board, alongside the caption: ‘Can you find a word that isn’t actually a word????
‘Sometimes it’s fun to make ones up!!!!’
Well, she’s definitely not wrong about those made up words, as ‘sodeln’ and ‘abirv’ could be seen on the board, nestled between ‘cakes’, ‘edge’ and ‘wet’.
Side note: That really wouldn’t fly in a proper Scrabble game, Britney…
However, some fans were adamant that there were secret clues on the board, hidden in those nonsense terms.
Flooding the comments, one begged: ‘Please someone crack the code, she’s trying to tell us something.’
‘THIS HAS TO MEAN SOMETHING,’ another screamed.
While a follower agreed: ‘Someone decipher this. I’m sure there’s a secret code in there.’
Others took the opportunity to get their detective skills on, with an Instagram user penning: ‘TIUQ is “QUIT” spelled backwards. If you’re looking for a clue… that’s it.’
As a fan suggested: ‘I SEE “RISE” LOUD AND CLEAR BB.’
Framing Britney Spears was released at the beginning of the month, and explored the mum-of-two’s conservatorship, which began in 2008.
The episode also focused on her attempts to legally remove dad Jamie Spears from the court order, in a bid to regain control of her own life.
Fans and famous pals have rushed to publicly support the Circus star since the premiere, including Sam Smith, Miley Cyrus, Khloe Kardashian and Hayley Williams.
After a US release, Framing Britney Spears is now available to watch in the UK, on Sky Documentaries and NOW TV.
