Blac Chyna says she has been ‘born again’ after being baptised in her garden swimming pool on her birthday, days after losing her legal case against the Kardashians.
The 33-year-old reality TV star shared a video clip of the baptism on Instagram, in which she was submerged in the pool by a pastor as a group of people believed to be her family and friends looked on.
She added the caption: ‘Born again on my Birthday 5/11/22 #newbeginnings.’
Chyna was supported by fans and followers who inundated her with warm wishes on social media, with one commenting: ‘Happy birthday and may this new rebirth bring you closer to God and all his blessings reign in your life and your children’s life.’
Another added: ‘Forever rooting for you! Happy birthday!’
The former fiancée to Rob Kardashian, with whom she shares five-year-old daughter Dream, has faced a few challenges of late.
She lost her defamation case against the Kardashian family in which she claimed Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner had interfered with her contract with E!, which led to the cancellation of her show, Rob & Chyna.
Following a facing off in court, the Kardashians emerged victorious, with no damages awarded to Chyna.
Chyna had alleged that Rob & Chyna was cancelled following its first season after the Kardashian family falsely told network executives and producers that she had physically attacked Rob in December 2016.
According to reports from AP, the jury found that the Kardashians ‘often acted in bad faith on the issues brought up in the case,’ but ‘it had no substantial effect on Chyna’s contract or the fate of the show.’
Chyna’s mum Tokyo Toni has since set up a GoFundMe page to fundraise for an appeal against the case.
The fundraiser has currently gathered just over $1,331 (£1087) towards a target of $400,000 (£328,000) after just over 100 donations.
Writing on the donation page, Tokyo wrote simply: ‘Hey It’s Tokyo Toni… Family and friends… Sincerely, Momma Tokyo.’
Chyna’s attorney Lynne Ciani vowed to appeal shortly after the verdict was announced.
The TV star is also under criminal investigation after allegedly kicking a woman in the stomach days after losing her case.
According to a report, in the early hours of Friday morning, the model was at a bar in Los Angeles when she became embroiled in an altercation with the alleged victim, Sequoya King.
The model also has nine-year-old son King Cairo with ex-partner Tyga, who previously dated Kylie Jenner.
