Amy Slaton has shared an update on her pregnancy, after revealing her baby news.
The 34-year-old – who fronts 1000Lb Sisters with sibling Tammy Slaton – is set to welcome her second child with husband Michael Halterman later this year.
Taking to Instagram, the 34-year-old offered an update on her growing family, explaining that she is nearly halfway through her pregnancy journey.
Alongside a screenshot from an app which said that her tot is roughly the size of a tomato, she wrote: ’19 weeks!!!! Almost half way.
‘Ive been craving garlic and tacos.. [sic].’
Amy and Michael are already parents to son Gage, and announced that they are set to welcome another little boy into their brood.
At the end of a gender reveal video, she unveiled her unborn son’s name as John Allen.
The expectant mom recently opened up about expanding her family, and said that her weight loss transformation is continuing throughout her pregnancy.
Amy has already lost 156lbs since she first began filming for the TLC series and wanted to continue her progress, telling the Sun: ‘I asked my doctor, “Hey is it okay if I lose weight”. And my doctor said yes, as long as the baby gains it.’
‘I feel like I’m actually losing weight with this baby because I’m eating right.
‘Gage’s favorite foods are green beans, broccoli, brussels sprouts, and tuna fish, that boy will eat tuna salad every day if I let him.
‘He eats healthy so I eat healthily. But I do have sugar here just in case my sugar gets low, because with this baby my sugar drops into the 40s, with Gage it was always high.
Amy previously weighed 406lbs at one point before undergoing a gastric bypass in 2019, and has been working hard to reach her goal weight of 150lbs.
While she doesn’t exercise, she added that running after toddler Gage is her form of a work out, as picking him up is similar to lifting ‘a 25lb barbell’.
