A woman has blasted a sex doll company for allegedly stealing her identity for one of their X-rated products.
Yael Cohen Aris – a model and Instagram star from Israel – found out about the Doll Studio figure from a follower, and the doll even shares her name while also including a unique beauty mark just under her mouth.
Appearing on This Morning, the 25 year old insisted there’s ‘no mistaking’ the similiarities, while presenter Phillip Schofield noted the company even uses ‘photos and videos from your Instagram account to sell the thing’.
Yael admitted while she isn’t ‘against the sex doll industry’ in general, she said her situation raises the issue of consent.
She said: ‘I’ll be completely honest – I don’t have anything against the sex doll industry, but of course the problem here is that they did it without my consent and my knowledge.
‘Also, it’s double wrong because it’s connected to my identity – it’s not just a doll that looks like me or is inspired by me. It was developed from me!’
