The first look clip from Young Sheldon season four has been revealed, giving fans a tantalising glimpse of what to expect from the new run.
The Big Bang Theory spin-off show once again focuses on the life of neurotic genius Sheldon as he makes his way in the world as a young boy.
The teaser from the first episode of the new season sees Sheldon and his family interviewed by the local news.
Sheldon says: ’[That] may sound impressive, but this is the same local news that covered a potato chip shaped like Texas.’
When asked about Sheldon’s incredible achievement of graduating high school aged 11, his mum Mary replies: ‘We’re proud of all our kids.’

According to the synopsis, the episode sees 11-year-old Sheldon struggle to prepare for the next step of his education, worrying that he might not be ready for college at such a young age. Dale also attempts to make amends with Meemaw.
The new series is just days away, but filming on the new series of Young Sheldon hasn’t been without incident.
Production was halted last month after a crew member tested positive for Covid-19.
It hasn’t set the show back too far, with the show arriving on CBS in the US on November 5. A UK has yet to be announced, although it is expected to premiere on E4.
Young Sheldon is the most-watched broadcast comedy in the US. It stars Iain Armitage as the younger version of Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory.
