Celebrity Best Home Cook has announced itself as one of the must-watch shows on the box this week, with stars showing off their skills in the kitchen.
The new celebrity version of the show sees celebs take part in three cooking challenges every week – The Ultimate, The Rustle and The Eliminator – in a bid to impress the judges.
Host Claudia Winkleman welcomes a star-studded line-up, including Ferne McCann, Welsh rugby star Gareth Thomas, ex-politician and broadcaster Ed Balls, TV presenter Karim Zeroual, actor Ruth Madeley, reality TV star Tom Read Wilson, actor Shobna Gulati, comedian Ed Byrne and journalist Rachel Johnson.
Comedian Desiree Burch became the first star to leave the show on Tuesday after failing to impress the judges.
But who are the judges overseeing the competition? Here’s everything you need to know.
Who are the judges on Celebrity Best Home Cook?
Dame Mary Berry is the biggest name in the competition, heading up the panel.
Dame Mary, of course, is a culinary legend. The former Great British Bake Off judge began her education at the Le Cordon Bleu culinary school at the age of 21, going on to publish more than 75 cook books.
She’s joined by her co-judges Chris Bavin and Angela Hartnett.
Chris is a presenter known for hosting the likes of Eat Well For Less? and Food: Truth or Scare. He has a background in the food industry, having worked importing fresh produce for nearly two decades.
Michelin-star chef Angela is the other big name helping to judge the celebrities’ cooking. The acclaimed chef is a protégée of Gordon Ramsay, who made her name as Chef-Patron at Angela Hartnett at The Connaught in London. She previously starred on the likes of Tomorrow’s Food with Dara ÓBriain.
Celebrity Best Home Cook continues on Tuesday at 9pm on BBC One.
