Unsurprisingly, the Strictly Come Dancing winner’s new show has seen comparisons to Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat farm shop in Oxfordshire, Our Yorkshire Farm and Sarah Beeny’s New Life in the Country.

Nonetheless, it has also received high praise from viewers, who were delighted by the goings-on of the farm in the first episode.

But where is Kelvin Fletcher’s farm, and can you visit it?

Where is Kelvin Fletcher’s farm located?

Kelvin’s farm is located on the edge of the Peak District National Park, in a sprawling 120-acre plot.

It is complete with various barns, a farmhouse, surrounding fields and an under-construction building.

The farm boasts a multitude of animals on the land, including 20 sheep, three pigs and three alpacas.

Taking to Instagram in December 2021, Kelvin, 38, announced that he’d bought the farm, sharing a photograph of himself, his wife and their two children next to a tractor.

Alongside the post, he wrote: ‘If you’ve been sat there wondering what these random farming and outdoor pictures are all about well now you know!’

‘We have literally jumped in at the deep end and bought a farm!’

He continued: ‘A reluctant Wife, 2 crazy kids and a Husband with knowledge of farming you could write on the back of a stamp! What could possibly go wrong?!’

Unlike Amanda and Clive Owen’s Ravenseat Farm in the Yorkshire Dales from Our Yorkshire Farm, which opens to the public in the spring and summer, and Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat farm shop, it’s believed that Kelvin’s Farm won’t be open to the public.

Kelvin Fletcher’s Farm premiered on BBC One on Monday January 17, and follows the family as they encounter a host of challenges on the land.

There are six half-hour episodes released on Mondays at 8:30pm and the show is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

As can be expected, many people have compared the new show to Clarkson’s Farm.

Who is Kelvin Fletcher’s wife Liz Marsland?

Kelvin and his wife, Liz, have been married since 2015 and have two children together, having first met when they were kids themselves.

She is also an actor and has starred in TV series including Pace, True Calling and Cold Feet.

Liz is currently pregnant with twins, with Kelvin recently saying on BBC Breakfast: ‘We just recently found out, to add another curveball if you like. We don’t really do things by halves and then we found out we’re having not just one baby, but two!’

He added: ‘It was an absolute eye-opener. So come May, we’ll be delivering lambs for the first time. I’m not going to be delivering babies as such but it is going to be a really busy time!’
