Weekends just got a little more exciting since one of the UK’s largest talent programmes has returned!
Britain’s Got Talent returns for its 16th season this weekend, with an exciting double bill beginning on Saturday, April 15.
Fans will get their first glance at new judge Bruno Tonioli, who is replacing David Walliams on the panel and exchanging Strictly for Simon Cowell.
Returning judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden will join the lads.
While we have weeks of audition episodes to keep us over, true fans may want to attend the live shows for the thrill. How do you receive these tickets?
How to get tickets to the BGT live shows
There is both good and terrible news.
The good news is that we know how to apply for Britain’s Got Talent tickets for the 2023 live events.
The bad news is that we don’t know when you’ll be able to apply.
When booking opens, applications will proceed in the same manner as in previous years.
Hopeful audience members can apply for free on the Applause Store website.
Anyone planning to attend should be aware of the terms and conditions, which include that all audience members must be at least eight years old and must be accompanied by an adult.
If you want to be among the first to know when tickets go on sale, you may request to be alerted via the Applause Store website.
All you have to do is sign in or establish an account and ask to be kept up to date.
When might the BGT finals be in 2023?
If BGT 2023 is anything like the 2022 season, the live semi-finals and grand finale will take place on June 3 and 4, respectively.
This is due to the fact that BGT 2022 began on about the same day (April 16, 2022) and concluded on June 5, the first Sunday of the month.
This year, the date is June 4.
Who won Britain’s Got Talent last year?
Axel Blake, a West London comedian, was last year’s BGT champion.
After getting the Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell, the former property maintenance manager advanced to the live shows.
He triumphed against nine other finalists, including Maxwell Thorpe, Jamie Leahey, Ben Nickless, Flintz and T4ylor, Tom Ball, Eva Abley, Loren Allred, 5 Star Boys, and Aneeshwar Kunchala.
Britain’s Got Talent returns tonight at 8pm on ITV and ITVX, and continues on Sunday night on ITV at 7.45pm.
