Love Island returns tonight for another season of sun, sea, and singletons, only three months after Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinan won the winter series.
Producers are expecting that fans would be riveted by the betrayals, shattered hearts, ‘icks,’ and dumpings in the ITV2 summer reality programme, following the winter ratings dip of Love Island in South Africa.
Having said that, everyone adored new host Maya Jama and her jaw-dropping ensembles, who also returns for this season.
And the winter programme did deliver some surprises, particularly when Tanya Manhenga dumped Shaq Muhammad in a famous Casa Amor twist.
Not to mention some stunning bombshells and feuds (anyone remember Zara Lackenby-Brown and Olivia Hawkins?).
The remodelled Majorcan villa now has a brand new Hideaway and the all-important fire pit, and the Love Island 2023 cast includes a soap celebrity’s daughter, a footballer’s son, and the star of a Burna Boy music video.
So, when and where can you catch all of the action?
Here’s what you should know.
What time does Love Island start tonight?
Love Island starts at 9pm on ITV2 tonight – and in a scheduling triumph, it’s straight after Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again.
The programme will last 1 hour and 35 minutes and will be followed by Family Guy.
We’re past ‘unreal,’ so let’s hope for a new buzzword.
Series 10 will air on weeknights and Sundays as normal.
Fans may recall that Ekin-Su Cülcülolu and Davide Sanclimenti were the series 8 champions in summer 2022.
The couple is now married, and Ekin-Su has featured on Dancing on Ice.
What will happen tonight?
In the first episode, boys and girls will enter the villa together for the first time.
Beautician Ruchee Gurung, 24, and aesthetics practitioner Jess Harding, 22, are the first to arrive, and they are quickly joined by gas engineer Mitchel Taylor, 26, Scottish model Ella Thomas, 23, and businessman Andre Furtado, 21.
Then Maya Jama appears and announces that the people has already picked who shall marry.
Instead of picking their own spouse, the islanders will be paired together without a say.
The remaining five islanders then arrive one by one, and Ella and semi-pro footballer Tyrique Hyde, 24, appear to already know each other…
Maya introduces the first coupling as everyone gathers around the fire pit.
Maya says: ‘I think it’s fair to say on Love Island you should 100% expect the unexpected!’
