‘Warrior’ Kim Kardashian transforming $70,000,000 guest house into five bedroom samurai retreat

Kim Kardashian has spent her $1.2 billion (£963 million) money on a lavish guest home.

The Skims creator, 42, paid $70 million (£54.9 million) for the Malibu property, which had a private beach.

Cindy Crawford formerly owned the home, which she offered The Kardashians fans and sister Khloé Kardashian, 39, a tour of in the newest episode of the Disney Plus series.

The six-acre mansion is being completely renovated by famed designer Axel Vervoordt, who previously worked on Kim’s ultra minimalist main Calabasas house, which she formerly occupied with ex-husband Kanye West.

However, Axel said on the reality show that he has a different concept for the new property and will instead draw influence from samurais after one previously stayed in Kim’s guesthouse.

He also described Kim as a ‘warrior,’ similar to samurais, and vowed that the restored house, which is being converted from a three-bedroom to a five-bedroom residence, will help balance her energy.

Kim said the brief was ‘half kids and half party’ as she showed off her new house, which overlooks the Californian beach, after earlier pledging to make the most of her single life.

During her tour of the house, which was currently unoccupied in preparation for renovations, Khloé said, ‘It looks like a picture.’

In a confessional, the mother-of-four said, “This has been a dream of mine forever.”

‘It’s just one of those like pinch-me moments where I can’t believe I like achieved a goal that I really didn’t really think was realistic.’

She continued: ‘It’s definitely a dream to have a house in Malibu and I think people think like, “They have all this stuff and they do all these things and like it’s so normal.” It’s not normal and we know that.

‘It wasn’t like, “Oh I got a house in Malibu, no big deal.” It was like, I stood on the beach, like tears down my face, like, holy s**t I did this.’

While Khloé joked that her big sister shouldn’t tell her kids about the house, Kim assured it would be a family home for future memories.

‘This house is going to be the craziest memories for all of my kids, all of my nieces and nephews,’ she told producers.

Kim’s new getaway comes after she opened openly about her troubles with Kanye, with whom she has four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Over the last year, the Gold Digger rapper has generated controversy with antisemitic statements, culminating in his being banned from Twitter and Instagram for breaking the social media networks’ policies.

Kim sobbed as she stated her initial reaction to the scandal was, ‘Wow, I can never talk to this person again,’ but that changed when she thought of her children.

‘It’s really confusing for me. It’s so different than the person that I married, because that’s who I loved and that’s who I remember and that’s who I… you know? I’ll do anything to get that person back,’ she added.

The Kardashians is available to watch on Disney Plus.
