Kim Kardashian has faced a massive reaction after a brutal brawl with sister Kourtney on the Kardashians’ season four premiere.
Following the Poosh owner’s star-studded wedding to Travis Barker in Italy last year, the duo battled to see eye-to-eye for most of the most recent season, with an ongoing fight over the Skims designer’s collection with Dolce & Gabbana, which arrived just after the nuptials.
Although things temporarily warmed, the editing for their programme produced additional tension behind the scenes, prompting the siblings to relive everything in a heated phone call.
Unpacking her anger, Kourtney, 44, fumed: ‘You came to my wedding, you could not be happy, you complained from the second you got there until the second you left. That’s what it’s about.
‘Forget about you couldn’t be happy – you couldn’t be happy for me. You couldn’t be happy that I was the center of attention and you weren’t.’
Having none of it, the businesswoman, 42, hit back: ‘What is it that you feel so low of me? I want you to dig deep and figure out why you hate me so much, and why you’re so angry with me, because all of this never happened. I was so happy for you. Why would I not be happy for you?
‘You hate us, you’re a different person, we all talk about it.
‘We’re on a group chat that’s actually labeled “Not Kourtney”. We have to funnel what your friends are saying to us, and have to figure out why you’re such a different person, and why you have this vendetta.’
‘I don’t need you guys any more, I don’t need to be a part of it,’ her sibling calmly replied. ‘Do you think I want to be a part of that? Absolutely not.
‘It’s about you. You are a narcissist. It’s all about you. Anything you do, it’s about you and how it looks to the world about you.’
‘We’re allowed to express concern. We have side chats about everybody. That’s just what you do,’ Kim spat. ‘Your kids have even come to me with problems that they have and how you are, so…’
Becoming emotional at the blow, Kourtney added before hanging up: ‘Is that helpful? You’re adding it into a fight to have a side. It’s you and my friends, and my kids, and everyone against me. You’re just a f**king witch and I f**king hate you.’
Fans watching from home were surprised by the altercation and took to social media to examine it.
Many others immediately sided with Kourtney, expressing outrage at Kim’s “cruel” remarks and calling her sister’s treatment “evil.”
‘My sister having a group chat solely dedicated to talking s**t about me is a betrayal I could NEVER come back from. Sorry that’s not normal. that’s unhinged,’ one tweeted.
‘It was cruel for Kim to tell Kourtney that kourtney’s kids went to her for things. She really does just look for any weapon to use,’ a Reddit user penned.
‘The way Kim brought up Kourts kids during the phone call….. I literally gasped. It was so wrong on so many levels. You don’t weaponize your sister’s kids to have some sort of one up or to just be a f**kin asshole,’ a follower said.
‘And also Kim saying she has a group chat that specially says NOT for Kourtney ….. It’s giving mean girls [sic].’
A viewer fumed: ‘Bring that up.. ON CAMERA. she is shameless. Truly such a horrible sister.’
Another agreed: ‘Kim came off horrid, spiteful and cruel. I knew she could be a real b***h, but I didn’t expect a convo like this (that makes her look so so awful) would ever air. Was impressed by Kourtney’s ability to stay steadfast, that s**t would have broke me down.’
‘I don’t watch this anymore so something may have happened I don’t know about but bringing up Kourtney’s kids is the lowest of the low. I can’t imagine doing that to my family on TV,’ a Twitter viewer suggested.
‘Ive said it, and I’ll say it again. Kim is so foul for bringing up the kids. She weaponized Kourts kids without hesitation, to purposely attack and hurt Kourt, to ultimately make her look like the problem,’ a commenter added.
‘When you actively go to therapy, you learn that that’s one of the things narcissists love to do!
‘It makes you question: As a mother that Kim is herself, why would she do that to another mother let alone her own sister? It’s so wrong on so many levels [sic].’
Kim and Kourtney shared the screen in a confessional, detailing how the tension reached such a nasty level.
