Trisha Goddard has blasted ‘relentless bullying’ of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over the name of their new baby daughter Lilibet Diana.
The royal couple welcomed their second child over the weekend, revealing she was named after the Queen’s nickname.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently hit back at claims they did not ask the Queen about naming their daughter Lilibet, with a source close to the couple insisting the prince did discuss his daughter’s name with his grandmother and would never have used it had she not been supportive.
The topic was debated on Thursday’s Good Morning Britain as Trisha joined commentator Isabel Oakeshott who felt the couple should ‘be quiet for a bit’.
Trisha responded by saying Harry and Meghan ‘can’t do anything right’.
She told hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard: ‘hey said it’s all about the Queen, Meghan’s grandmother also has the name Lily. It’s well known harry and the Queen have a close relationship.

‘Excuse my French but it’s bloody relentless. It’s bullying now. They may not make the wisest choices but if people say if they do nothing, then nothing will happen – that’s not true.
‘They can’t do anything right anyway. It doesn’t seem to matter if they say something or not, it’s about pain but it’s about continuous relentless bullying.’
Susanna blamed the palace source who had told the BBC Prince Harry and the Suits star did not discuss the name with the Queen, saying they had ‘stoked tension’ within family at an already turbulent time.
