After a horrible tragedy, Megan McKenna showed devastating burns over the side of her face and ear.
The 30-year-old reality television personality turned to Instagram to explain why she hadn’t been posting.
She began: ‘So, before you freak – I’ve had a bit of an accident as you can see.
‘On the weekend I was at my mum’s and we were having dinner and she walked over with the gravy pot.
‘Daisy [her dog] got underneath her feet, she tripped over Daisy, grabbed the gravy pot but the gravy inside flopped out and landed on my head.’
Megan showed the burns beside her right eye and on her ear, adding: ‘It’s caught the side of my face, it looks so much better now, it’s in the healing process, it’s a little bit rank.’
‘I’ve got a whole blister behind my ear, my ear feels like it’s hanging off,’ she added.
Megan explained that her mum sprayed her face with water for half an hour in the sink.
‘It was a couple of hours of stress,’ she continued.
‘Absolute nightmare, you couldn’t write it!’
Megan went on to reassure her viewers that she’s ‘on the mend’ and that she still loves gravy.
