Iris Jones, 83, of This Morning, has divorced her 37-year-old toyboy and is content with his successor.
The couple first met in a Facebook atheist group, and Mohamed Ibrahim, a retired care worker, flew from Cairo to see her in person in November 2019.
The next year, the couple married in a low-key ceremony in Egypt’s capital, and they celebrated with a KFC before their honeymoon.
They’ve subsequently been quite open about their filthy sex life details, with Iris recently saying: ‘I didn’t expect to be having the best sex of my life at 83 but I’m definitely not complaining. Mohamed keeps me youthful, especially while I’m sleeping.’
But, alas, all good things must come to an end, and Iris has now announced their breakup.
She told Closer, according to The Sun: ‘I never expected to fall in love with someone 46 years younger than me, but I did. I adored everything about Mohamed.
‘But it became hard work. We used to have a great sex life but then, rather than making love, we ended up arguing all the time about anything and everything.
‘I can’t be doing with that. I’m not a lovesick teenager. I’m 83.’
Instead, she’s now content with Mr Tibbs, whom she describes as the “ideal companion” after meeting him only days after Mohamed left.
‘He never complains, is very quiet and beautiful to look at – I adore him. And he’s very happy here and doesn’t create an mess,’ Iris continued.
She added: ‘I’m not missing Mohamed at all, the thing that annoyed me the most when he left was he took my tempura battered prawns that I’d planned for my dinner that night.’
Iris had already made Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield of This Morning blushed after disclosing some risqué details.
‘My skin is very thin, it’s like tissue and Mohamed’s got to be careful when he grabs a hold of me because he rips my skin,’ Iris explained. ‘The skin on my legs is very, very thin.
‘When it comes to making love, it can be painful,’ she continued. ‘I can end up in the A&E with skin rips, but we’ve solved that problem because we sometimes do it doggy fashion and that’s it.’
