On Saturday February 13, Sausage was announced as the winner of The Masked Singer UK series two, revealing Joss Stone underneath the costume.
Throughout the competition, judges Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross threw all sorts of guesses out there regarding who the celebrities could be behind the masks, some of their predictions being way off mark and others right on the money.
Robin, Sausage or Badger all did an incredible job to make it to the last stage of the competition.
But is there a prize for the winner?
What prize does the winner receive?
While The Masked Singer UK is pretty much identical to its counterpart in the States, it does differ when it comes to the prize for the winner of the competition.
In the US, the winner of the singing show receives the coveted Golden Mask Trophy, which went to singer LeAnn Rimes when she was unmasked as the Sun in December last year.
When Joss was named the winner of series two, she didn’t receive a trophy on stage, although she did look ecstatic over her victory.
Being a celebrity competition, there is no prize money awarded to the winner.
Who was in the final of series two?
Robin, Sausage and Badger went head-to-head in a bid to win The Masked Singer UK series two.
The final three battled their way through several rounds to make it to the end, knocking out fan-favourites including Harlequin, Dragon and Blob.
Robin came third in the competition, taking off his mask to reveal JLS singer Aston Merrygold.
After him, Badger took off his mask, unveiling American singer-songwriter Ne-Yo underneath.
Who was revealed in the semi-final?
The double elimination in the semi-final saw both Harlequin and Dragon unveil their identities.
When Harlequin removed the top part of their costume, singer Gabrielle was revealed underneath, someone who fans had suspected for a while might be behind the mask.
Dragon, on the other hand, turned out to be Sue Perkins, which was a massive surprise for those who believed it was Michelle Visage or Courtney Act in the costume.
Who won The Masked Singer UK last year?
The winner of The Masked Singer UK season one was Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts, who astounded the audience with her stunning vocals as Queen Bee.
Nicola joined the panel as a guest judge for the season two final, a year since her impressive victory.
