Warning: spoilers ahead for The Book of Boba Fett episode 3 on Disney Plus.

Ever since The Book of Boba Fett began on Disney Plus, eagle-eyed fans have been scanning scenes to try and spot as many Star Wars Easter Eggs as possible, with some suspecting that a Mandalorian cameo could be in store.

While episode 3 didn’t feature the return of Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin after he and Boba crossed paths in season two of The Mandalorian, it did include an appearance from another character in a blink-and-you-miss-it moment.

In a flashback sequence, Boba is riding a Bantha on his way to meet the Pykes, in order to collect a toll on behalf of the Tusken Raiders.

As he passes an array of Clone Trooper helmets placed on spikes, Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris) can be seen walking in the background, followed closely by her droids.

Peli made her debut in the first season of The Mandalorian, when the mechanic was hired by Mando to repair his ship.

Aside from lending Din her help when it came to spaceship DIY, she also helped take care of Baby Yoda when Mando had to head off on a mission.

In season two, Peli guided Mando towards finding Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant), who came into possession of Boba’s armour when he obtained it from a group of Jawas.

She later also tasked Din with safely transporting the Frog Lady and her eggs to her husband – unbeknownst that Grogu would eat several of the eggs on their journey.

While some Book of Boba Fett viewers questioned if they had really seen Peli show up, others shared their excitement over the unquestionable cameo.

‘DUDE NO F**KING WAY PELI MOTTO IS HERE,’ one person tweeted.

‘Ok but did anyone else see Peli Motto or am I losing my mind?!’ another said.

Someone else said that in their opinion, if Peli could show up in a brief clip, then surely Cobb should make a cameo in the upcoming episodes.

We couldn’t agree more.

Peli wasn’t the only character to cause a stir in episode three.

The beginning of the episode saw Stephen Root make his debut as water vendor Lortha Peel, who requested Boba’s help to stop a group of cyborgs stealing his extortionately priced produce.

Later, movie legend Danny Trejo appeared as a Rancor trainer, delivering the creature to Boba’s front door at Jabba’s Palace after the Twins – cousins of the late Jabba – brought it over as a suspicious peace offering.

The Book of Boba Fett is available to watch on Disney Plus with new episodes released on Wednesdays.
