Katya Jones, of Strictly Come Dancing, has sent a message to her ex-husband Neil Jones, who just announced the birth of his first child with fiancée Chyna Mills.
The pro dancer, 41, and the Love Island star, 23, announced their pregnancy in April of this year and got engaged shortly thereafter.
They confirmed Chyna had given birth on Wednesday, with the reality star uploading a black and white photo of their baby’s tiny feet on Instagram and adding, ‘Our hearts are so full.’
Congratulatory comments poured in from Strictly and Love Island stars alike, including Dianna Buswell, Tyler West, Tasha Ghouri, Dami Hope, and Danica Taylor.
Katya, 34, has also expressed her condolences.
Katya tagged each of them in a re-post of the couple’s baby photo, writing, ‘Congratulations Neil Jones and Chyna Mills on becoming parents.’
Neil and Katya were married from 2013 until 2019, when they announced their divorce, a year after she was seen kissing her Strictly Come Dancing partner, comedian Seann Walsh.
Despite their split, the ex-couples have continued to work together on Strictly and are visibly friendly.
Katya said she was’so delighted for these two’ when Neil shared his baby news earlier this year.
‘You deserve all the happiness.’
Neil and Chyna have been dating for just over a year and met after he messaged her on Instagram after watching her on Love Island.
The pair has previously stated that they intend to wait a lot longer before getting married.
‘We thought it would be cute if the baby can be walking around at the wedding,’ he said earlier this year.
