Adam Thomas of Strictly Come Dancing has spoken up about his problems ahead of the live performances.
The Waterloo Road actor, 35, is getting ready to dance with Luba Mushtuk to Curtis Stigers’ I Wonder Why.
However, only days before the presentation, he stated that he is suffering from anxiousness.
During rehearsals, Adam took to Instagram to share: ‘This is the bit I hate.
‘We have just had a few hours this morning, and I don’t know what it is, but for me, Saturday night nerves get the better of me and my mind’s a mush and I forget the routine.
‘I just go into a bit of a panic mode.’
He went on to say that his dancing partner discovered a way to assist him get over his concerns by calling in kids from the next door gym to see them.
Adam continued: ‘I’m having a full-on anxiety attack already. I don’t know what it is, man.
‘I just struggle with nerves on Saturday night, if you’ve got any tips or advice to send my way, please feel free to slide into my DMs.
‘It’s the one thing I’m struggling with, we’ll get there though.
‘I know the routine which is a good thing.’
He then expressed his amazement at the number of dancers Luba had invited, before a much relieved Adam was applauded on by his audience after dancing in front of them.
This comes as Adam has been facing a painful health issue, attempting to keep his rheumatoid arthritis “under control.”
On Monday, the father-of-two, who just announced he had been diagnosed with the chronic ailment, published a photo of himself getting a blood test on Instagram Stories.
Smiling as he was treated by medics, Adam captioned the post: ‘One day I’ll get my arthritis under control…but until then, more bloods and more doctors. Staying strong.’
Adam previously said the autoimmune disorder had affected his mobility, saying: ‘A couple of weeks ago, I couldn’t really walk, I couldn’t really do much.’
He also said he was taking ‘really strong medication’ and that while it had been ‘tough’, he was ‘on the road to recovery.’
