Fans of Strictly Come Dancing adored this uncomfortable yet romantic conversation between Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell.
At the conclusion of Saturday night’s first live event, the 20-year-old EastEnders actor left his father Jeff in tears with his and Dianne’s magnificent foxtrot, which earned the couple an early score of 29.
The actor’s exuberance was characterised as ‘absolutely charming’ by head judge Shirley Ballas, while Anton du Beke was ‘a bit startled’ following the routine, naming it his favourite dance of the night so far.
When the show went off the air, hosts Tess Daley and Claudia Winkleman said goodbye to viewers, but a few individuals noticed Bobby in the background looking perplexed.
Fans felt the actor appeared to be perplexed by the Strictly timetable as he appeared to ask his partner whether they were dancing on Sunday evening.
A happy face Dianne smiled and shook her head, as if to say ‘next week,’ and Peter nodded to show he understood.
‘I love how he has no idea what’s going on,’ laughed one fan as they shared a clip of the moment on X/Twitter, while another person replied: ‘He is just so lovely you can tell he has such a lovely soul.’
And a third fan wrote: ‘He is so cute and funny! Love him! 😍’
Bobby can be pardoned for not being completely up to date on the programme, given that he recently admitted to never having seen a single episode of the show.
‘My first experience of Strictly is being on Strictly,’ he revealed while speaking on This Morning last week, and his partner Dianne Buswell, who’s been part of the BBC show since 2017, actually enjoys that he has no preconceptions.
Dianne, 34, gave an insight into how his avoidance has impacted their rehearsals: ‘Every single time I mention a dance he’s like “I’ve never heard of it.” It is quite exciting because he is learning from scratch so has no bad habits’.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One and iPlayer each weekend.
