Strictly Come Dancing fans are desperate to see more of John Whaite and AJ Odudu together after the pair shared the coolest pic together after last Saturday’s final.
AJ and John made up two thirds of the grand final line-up, alongside eventual winner Rose Ayling-Ellis.
But despite AJ not being able to compete after suffering an injury, she made her presence known at Saturday night’s show with glittery crutches in tow.
As the show’s stars continue to share some backstage pics from the night itself, and
AJ captioned the pic: ‘Strictly Hun Dancing. @john_whaite,’ with the pair absolutely nailing the post-finale look.
In the snap, John is playing it cool in an all-black ensemble as he beams alongside his pal.
The TV presenter – on the other hand – was completely unmissable draped in a green feathered coat with her glittery bodysuit just visible underneath.
Of course, Strictly viewers were delighted to see AJ and John pose together in style, making it clear they’re keen to see more from them in the future.
Some even called for the pair to start presenting their own show together, with one writing: ‘our new presenting duo i wanna see you both on everything x.’
‘You two need your own show,’ another shared, with a fan adding: ‘A pair of absolute icons!!! Adore you both.’
‘I think this is the best pairing I have ever seen,’ agreed another user.
John summed up just how much fun they got to have on the night, replying: ‘I’m still hungover I think, so much fun.’
Away from Strictly, John is often seen on Steph’s Packed Lunch offering up some tasty treats, with AJ recently having hosted a special revival of The Big Breakfast alongside Mo Gilligan.
AJ’s already got her presenting shoes back on, after she stepped into host Morning Live on Monday morning.
Fans were calling for her to be made a permanent host after they loved tuning into her stint alongside Rav Wilding.
John’s now taking a much-deserved break from the madness of Strictly by going up on Highland retreat with his fiancé Paul.
We’d definitely love to see these two hosting together, and we can’t wait to see what they do next.
