Strictly Come Dancing contestant Max George has channelled his inner Forrest Gump after finding out which dance routine he’s performing this week.

The Wanted singer, took to social media, where he shared a clip of his face on Forrest Gump’s body.

Forrest, who is played by Tom Hanks in the movie, is renowned for running, and anyone who has seen the film will recognise the phrase ‘Run Forrest run’.

And well, that is exactly what Max feels like doing, after realising he is taking on the jive – just a week after HRVY nailed the routine.

‘Me finding out I’m doing the jive straight after @HRVY …’ he captioned the video.

Last week, Max performed the tango with his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell.

However, this week it seems like the pop star is feeling the pressure, as he will try to compete with YouTuber HRVY, who topped the leader board with his routine.

Not too much pressure, eh Max?

Max’s fellow Strictly contestants saw the funny side of it, as many commented with laughing face emojis.

HRVY must also be feeling the pressure, especially after impressing the judges last week.

It also seems like the rehearsals are taking their toll on the singer after he revealed to Zoe Ball that he has been left ill over the extreme pressure of rehearsals.

‘The day before in the dress runs, we did three, and I did have a little moment where I had to go to the toilet and…,’ he explained.

‘He threw up!’ Janette finished, laughing along with HRVY who admitted: ‘I wasn’t gonna say it, but I mean, I might as well be honest!

‘I went light-headed and had to sit down.’

He blamed the ‘jiggle’ of the fast-paced dance for making his stomach take a turn but admitted that even on the night, the nerves were getting the best of him.
