This Is My House, a show originally hosted by Stacey Dooley, has been discontinued by the BBC.
The first season of the game show, which premiered in 2021, was hosted by Stacey, 36, and had four competitors (the homeowner and three imposters) attempting to convince a panel of celebrities that they were the true owner of a house.
Last year, Ricky Hatton, Claire Richards, Deborah Meaden, and Robert Rinder took part in a one-off celebrity special for Red Nose Day, and an Italian version of the event was also developed.
The homeowner might win £1,000 if a panel of celebrities could select them out of a throng.
However, the national broadcaster has cancelled the show.
‘Sometimes difficult decisions have to be made, so whilst there will be not be another series of This Is My House on BBC One and iPlayer, we would like to extend our thanks to Richard Bacon and the entire team at Expectation plus all our celebrity sleuths for two series of the show,’ a BBC spokesperson said in a statement to Metro.co.uk.
After Stacey hosted the first season, voiceovers were utilised for the second season’s programmes, which were also cut to 30 minutes.
Stacey and her boyfriend, former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Kevin Clifton, had their first child, Minnie, earlier this year.
Stacey was back at work just a month after giving birth.
In February, she posted a video from the back of a car in which she yawned while wearing dark sunglasses over her sleepy eyes.
‘Not me en route to work with my daughter on 1 hour sleep,’ she wrote alongside the clip.
Kevin and Stacey first met after they won Strictly in 2018.
In August 2022, she revealed her pregnancy with a polaroid photo of her hands caressing her increasing tummy.
This Is My House is streaming on BBC iPlayer.
