Sex and the City costume designer Patricia Field has slammed Cynthia Nixon for her fashion choices on the series.
The stylist spoke about her former assistant Molly Rogers, who worked on the new HBO Max series And Just Like That.
Speaking to The Sunday Times, Patricia said the actresses on the reboot ‘think they know everything’ as she threw shade at stars of the hit series.
‘I like some of it, I don’t like all of it, but I know what Molly’s dealing with,’ the 79-year-old said.
‘I know those gals! Sarah Jessica [Parker] thinks she knows everything – and she does. Cynthia Nixon thinks she knows everything – and she doesn’t!’
She went on to say: ‘Even today, when I speak with Molly, it’s about Cynthia. I say, “I remember what you are going through.”‘
Blimey…
And Just Like That… dropped on NOW and Sky Comedy earlier this month, picking up nearly 20 years on from the last episode of Sex and the City.
The show has not aired since 2004, and a lot has changed in the busy Sex and the City world, with the women now in their 50s.
Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kirstin Davis) were finally back to walk the streets of New York in the show’s reboot.
