SAS: Who Dares Wins is set to return to our screens tomorrow, and this season things will be slightly different as two new Directing Staff join the team from across the pond, taking the place of ex-chief instructor Ant Middleton.
The former Special Forces soldier was axed from Channel 4 due to his ‘personal conduct’ which came after some controversial comments made in relation to the Black Lives Matter movement and Covid-19.
Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox and Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham will continue this season, joined by United States Special Forces operators: former United States Recon Marine Rudy Reyes as new chief instructor and former US Navy SEAL Remi Adeleke.
Putting the 20 new recruits through their paces across some brutal challenges and gruelling tasks, Chief Instructor Rudy will take Ant’s place, and from the looks of things, he won’t be treating the recruits any lighter.
Following Ant’s controversies, Foxy and Billy admitted to Metro.co.uk and other press that they hadn’t heard from him, with Foxy saying: ‘I personally haven’t.’
Billy added: ‘I haven’t heard anything, but I’m sure he’ll be watching it.’
‘I don’t know whether he’ll watch, maybe he will, maybe he won’t,’ Foxy continued.
Despite Ant not being there, Billy and Foxy ensured the new Directing Staff bring plenty to the table.
