Sarah Snook has promised Succession fans that the season 4 promotional image has big easter eggs.
The HBO drama, produced by Jesse Armstrong of Peep Show, is returning for its last season, and viewers are speculating on what will happen to the Roy family business.
Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Snook), and Roman (Kieran Culkin) reunited in Season 3 in an effort to depose their father Logan (Brian Cox) from his own business.
Logan, however, was two steps ahead of his children and, thanks to a tip from Tom Wambsgans (Matthew Macfayden), was able to prevent their proposal and retain his position as CEO.
Sarah, 35, who disclosed during the premiere of Succession that she was carrying her first child, appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday and dropped a huge hint about where to find season 4 plotlines.
The 48-year-old former Saturday Night Live cast member jumped right in, explaining that fans had correctly predicted the season 3 narrative based on the posture of the figures in the advertising picture.
Jimmy then asked Sarah whether there were any clues in the season 4 image, to which she stutteringly and mumbled: ‘Yeah… I mean a little, yeah, yeah. There is.
‘But I feel like you won’t know until you know, it’s like The Da Vinci Code you’re sort of like putting things together.
‘There is a thing… Once the season begins airing it may get related back to this moment,’ she added, gesturing to the poster.
Sarah previously revealed that she had no idea the blockbuster series would be ending in season 4.
‘I was very upset,’ Snook said upon learning that Succession would not be filming a fifth chapter.
She told the Los Angeles Times: ‘I felt a huge sense of loss, disappointment, sadness. It would’ve been nice to know at the beginning of the season, but I also understand not being told until the end because there was still a potential that maybe this wasn’t going to be the end.’
Succession returns to HBO Max in the US on March 26 and will land on and NOW in the UK on 27 March.
