RuPaul’s Drag Race fans, gird your loins – season 14 has arrived, bringing with it 14 new contestants hoping for the chance to claim the crown.
The new episodes of the US version of the show are due to premiere shortly, as viewers meet queens including Daya Betty, June Jambalaya, Lady Camden and Kornbread ‘The Snack’ Jeté.
Competitor Maddy Morphosis has made history as the first cisgender straight male queen ever to appear on the franchise, with the performer responding to some of the negative backlash they received by stating: ‘For anyone saying that I’m representing an underrepresented group, I appreciate you, but straight men are not a persecuted and excluded group within the drag community.’
Meanwhile, global superstars among the likes of Alicia Keys and Lizzo are set to appear as guest judges. Could we BE any more excited?
